Learn how to configure Sedai’s features and control how your cloud resources are managed.
Sedai requires read-write access to autonomously execute operations; this also enables Sedai's feedback loop so that its algorithms can continually learn and intelligently adapt to production behavior in real-time.
While Sedai integrates to AWS accounts and Kubernetes clusters with read-write permissions, you can configure how Sedai manages resources from the platform’s Settings page. This allows you to control:
  • What: You can define default settings at the Account, Cluster, or Group level, as well as override default settings on a resource-by-resource level. You can additionally customize settings for specific resource types.
  • Why: This represents Sedai’s features, such as enabling analysis for opportunities to optimize for cost or performance, or preventing availability issues.
  • When: You can choose to allow Sedai to act independently as it identifies opportunities, or send recommendations asking for permission to act.
Sedai will only autonomously execute operations once learning is complete and the platform is confident it can act safely without harming resource behavior.
