Sedai analyzes cloud resources for opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs and can autonomously implement configuration changes on your behalf.
Sedai analyzes your cloud resources and generates optimization opportunities to improve resource efficiency and decrease costs. You can review these potential optimizations in the Opportunities page in the platform and choose to submit a one-time optimization to apply optimal resource configurations. At any point, you can set resources to Autonomous mode in Topology Settings for automated and continuous resource optimization. Any cost savings or performance improvements achieved through optimizations will show in the Savings page.

Optimization Opportunities

The Opportunities page includes potential resource optimizations and their corresponding cost savings. Opportunities are listed for resources that are not set to autonomous, which you can review and optionally choose to submit for one-time autonomous execution. This page may also include opportunities for resources that are set to autonomous yet require additional review because of insufficient traffic, error, or latency metrics.
In this page, you can compare your current spend to your estimated savings, and you can achieve potential savings by executing opportunities. Sedai categorizes resource optimization opportunities by resource type (containers, serverless, storage, etc.) and will list accounts with opportunities under each tab accordingly. Select an account to review opportunities within it.
Once you're within an account, peruse a list of resources and select a specific one to see opportunity details (such as resource allocation changes) and supporting analysis (such as traffic, error, and latency metrics).

Optimization Savings

The Savings page allows you to view completed optimizations for your resources and their corresponding cost savings and performance improvements. Optionally filter by resource type, and select an individual resource to see its optimization history, resource allocation changes, and cost and/or performance impact.
