# Setup Checklist

Once you integrate your cloud and monitoring data, Sedai starts to learn the behavior of each of your resources. As the system builds its models, you can continue to explore the platform until its preliminary analysis is ready.

* [ ] Invite your team and configure their access from the Access Control page (operation admins only). Learn more about [RBAC controls](https://docs.sedai.io/get-started/platform/single-sign-on-rbac).
* [ ] Explore discovered resources from the Asset Intelligence page (including topology information and insights).
* [ ] Create [custom groups](https://docs.sedai.io/onboarding/manage-sedai/groups) based on inferred cloud provider tags (this comes in handy if you want to view your imported resources in a more meaningful way, such as dev versus production resources or based on business unit/purpose). Use groups as page filters as well as to easily manage settings for a collection of resources.
* [ ] Define your optimization goals. By default, Sedai will look for optimal configurations based on current usage and try to balance its current cost and performance. You can refine goals to allow Sedai to look for more aggressive cost savings or performance improvements.
* [ ] Configure notifications ([learn more](https://docs.sedai.io/get-started/platform/integrations/notifications)).
* [ ] Use [SDK](https://docs.sedai.io/get-started/autonomous-cloud-management#python-sdk-and-api-documentation) to integrate with internal CI/CD, DevOps processes
* [ ] Set up [Sedai Sync](https://docs.sedai.io/get-started/onboarding/ci-cd#sedai-sync) if you team manages releases with IaC (infrastructure as code)
* [ ] **Optional:** Set up [Single Sign-On](https://docs.sedai.io/get-started/platform/single-sign-on-rbac) (SSO), or alternatively use Sedai's IDP.
